I presented our work, A Cross-Lingual Multi-Jurisdiction Dataset for Patent Drafting from Patent Cooperation Treaty Applications, at NLP2026 in Utsunomiya. The poster explores patent drafting across Japanese and English using applications linked through the Patent Cooperation Treaty.

Snow and cherry blossoms

I was lucky to catch a snowy day while the cherry blossoms were blooming. Between the conference and a few quiet moments around Utsunomiya Station, there was plenty to photograph—and a bowl of phở along the way.

A short visit to Nikko

I also made a short trip to Nikko, with a walk among the tall trees and a stop by the lake surrounded by snowy mountains.
